A wellness coach, exercise physiologist, women’s health enthusiast, and mental health advocate.
I was born and raised in Steelers Nation near Pittsburgh, PA. I made my way to the south a few years ago and could not be happier to call Charlotte, NC my home. I moved here after a gap year between my degrees. All my life I wanted to pursue medical school to be a gynecologist, however after I graduated with my B.S. in Biology, I realized that there was another path for me to take.
In 2017, fitness saved my life. I was in a deep hole filled with depression, shame, regret and a lot of self-hate. With a history of an eating disorder and as a sexual assault survivor, I knew that was not a life that I could go back to, so I started to expand my knowledge in fitness and nutrition. Little did I know that would be the beginning to my journey of self-love and restoration.
All my life, I could not recall a time when I truly loved myself, and then I started lifting weights. Lifting was the ultimate empowering and life giving activity that brought me back to the woman I was created to be. Because of this and my love for science, I became a certified personal trainer and went to graduate school to earn my M.S. in Kinesiology. I am a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist now living my dream of helping women fall in love with themselves, the gym, and living a healthy life.
