“Life was very different for me before health coaching. I didn’t know how to properly care for myself. I didn’t know how to properly nourish my body. Doctors would tell me to lose weight but I was never given the tools to learn how to. Health coaching has not only taught me how to love myself but also how to prioritize my health and take care of myself. I am a healthier person physically and spiritually. Health coaching showed me it wasn’t about just losing weight but changing my mindset. It has empowered me into a stronger and healthier individual who loves who she is.
My biggest fear was that it wasn’t going to work. I had absolutely no confidence at all before starting health coaching. I didn’t take a before picture or anything because I truly didn’t think anything would help me. I knew I needed help though and trusted that this would be good for me. After our first few conversations and losing about 5 pounds, I started to have hope. I realized Kelsey was a fantastic support system. She believed in me and I began believing in myself!”

“Health coaching is like having an accountability partner, a close confidant and a personal motivator all in one. Kelsey in particular has been someone that I have turned to multiple times, even in things that don’t necessarily relate to health coaching. She has become a close friend and is deeply invested in each client she takes on.
I was surprised by how much more aware I am of the decisions (good and bad) that I make on a daily basis. For me in particular, it is being aware of what food I am putting in my body and realizing that I was not giving myself enough water each day for my body to function correctly.
I think I had a really big mental breakthrough knowing I don’t have to be as perfect as I think I do. The standard I hold myself too is unrealistic and I will always fail if I don’t go easier on myself.”

“The biggest gain for me has been the learning and knowledge. It is easy and it is easier to change when you know why things are happening and why you are fueling with one thing instead of another.
The biggest win was actually to connect with my body and my health journey as opposed to not caring at all. Even though weight loss or gain hasn’t been a major goal of mine, treating my body like I care about it and having the mental/spiritual coaching aspect has helped immensely with that.
I would describe health coaching as having someone there to teach you about sustainable ways to stay healthy, while also being there for you every step of the way. It is so personalized and having a connection with your coach makes the bad days better and the good days even better!”
